Description
This material has been mined since ancient times in upper Versilia (Tuscany), from which it takes its name, in the impressive mountain range of the Alpi Apuane. Dark gray tending to a deep blue, this rock derives from sandstone from the fragmentation of granite and does not have very deep metamorphism. It has optimal physical characteristics with high resistance to wear, sliding and tension, as well as an ideal resistance to the wear and tear of weather conditions.
